Our work not only involves sick and badly treated animals but accident cases as well. We are often called out to rescue or relieve the suffering of animals that have been dealt the final blow. After months of roaming the countryside and towns, looking for food, water and often their owners, they end up crossing a road. Some are lucky and are killed instantly but others lie suffering until help arrives.
One such dog (We have called her Fay) was hit by a car. She was not only covered in ticks and with fear in her eyes, but unable to move because her pelvis was shattered and her spine broken. We had no choice but to end her life, such as it was.

This type of rescue not only makes us feel sick at the way so many people treat dogs, but involves a cost of around 300 euros, just to collect a dog to put it out of its misery. Add to that the feelings of the  personnel involved who often end up in tears. This is why your donations are important. Without funds, that dog would have had to lie there suffering for heaven knows how long, anything up to a day or more, in fear and agony.

Luckily however, we do reach most dogs in time and this is where your donations really do make a difference.
With your help we are able to treat, rehabilitate and re-home many of the sick, injured and/or badly treated dogs that come into our care.  Thanks to you, for many dogs, their dreams of a new and loving home and a second chance of living a safe and happy life, really do come true.

Clothes, Furniture, or Bric a Brac
If you have any items of clothes, furniture, or brick a brac, or anything you think we could sell at one of our two shops, please call Jean on 968 154 507 who can arrange to pick it up from you, or you can simply take it along to one of our shops in Mazarrón or the Puerto De Mazarron. Thank you !
