Tia
Female, born June 07, Neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.

She is of a mixed breed and looks to have some Labrador in her. She was living at the entrance/exit to the motorway in Mazarron, in a large rainwater pipe beneath the roadway. She had, at some time, been caught in a trap, which had caught hold of her tail. As she freed herself, about three quarters of the tail was skinned. We rescued her and we found that there were maggots living in the dead flesh of the tail. She was taken to the vets who removed the dead tail as close as he could to the base of her back. Now she has a small skinless tail that is slowly beginning to look normal.

The bad part over and she is now at our kennel where she has gained her confidence and become a very loving dog.

Tia is a very trusting, loyal and faithful girl. She has a very good mind, is willing to please and is quick to learn. She already comes when called and will sit and give you her paw. She travels quietly and well in the car and can get on with cats.

She gets on well with other dogs in the kennel and is very affectionate and good with people that visit. She really is a 5* star rated dog ready for homing.

Please remember though that her tail is still a little sore  when touched so does not want to be in a boisterous and too playful environment until it has completely healed.

She should be on your short list!
