Welcome to Noahs ARC Murcia

Noah’s Arc is a registered animal rescue charity (7.971/1) in the Murcia region of Spain created to rescue injured and badly treated animals, the main focus being on dogs. Whilst we currently can only take in dogs we always try to help with any injured animal. It is our intention to build more relationships with other specialist animal charities throughout Europe to ensure that we can help re home more animals.

Our work not only involves sick and badly treated animals but accident cases as well. We are often called out to rescue or relieve the suffering of animals that have been dealt the final blow. After months of roaming the countryside and towns, looking for food, water and often their owners, they end up crossing a road, some are lucky and are killed instantly but others lie suffering until help arrives

PLEASE CHECK OUR RECENTLY ADDED PAGE IF YOUR DOG HAS BEEN LOST OR STOLEN, IT MAY BE IN OUR CARE

Chummy

Chummy

Chummy is a lovable boy, 6 years old, fully inoculated and neutered. Chummy was living in a home with 2 other dogs until his owner passed away suddenly, he now finds himself in kennels but would love a settee to call his own, he is good with other dogs, can take them or leave them, so not bothered if he is an only dog. Not sure he would be good to live with cats tho… He will run off and has selective deafness but will come back eventually so would love lots of runs and walks to investigate and sniff out some bunnies maybe. He is a large dog so not suitable for an apartment or small garden unless he gets lots of walks to stop him getting bored and depressed. He is not destructive but I think if he didn’t have somewhere to go or to look out at he would get depressed and be unhappy. He is not a great eater, think he would be a grazer given the chance but in kennels with other dogs not possible.

    Sox and Kisme
GSD cross pups, Katys puppies. They are typical puppies, into everything, very affectionate, obedient and about 15 weeks old.
  • Bud
    Bud
He was tested and had Leishmania, he has completed all of his medication and is looking really well now. He is very affectionate, boisterous and you have to be firm with him. He eats well, is good on a lead, about 3 years old. He has not been mixed and must be kept in a secure steel pen as he can chew through standard fencing.
  • Katy
    Katy
Katy came in covered in ticks, she is clear now but is still nervous and will shy away from Peter, was very camera shy with Tony but confident with me a female. She sits and shakes a paw for treats, is not good on a lead as she just lays down. She has Leishmania and is still under treatment, is eating well, gaining weight and her coat is looking better. Very much a one to one dog.

  • Estrella
    Estrella
Estrella is a true pointer girl who is lively and out going, but then she has her calmer loving side and when she flashes her beautiful brown eyes it's hard to resist. She gets on great with male dogs but can be anti with females. We think Estrella finds it hard in kennel life as she was in foster care before coming here and has struggled to adapt, she has so much energy and passion for life and would suit some one who shares similar interest.
  • Milly and Missy
    Milly and Missy
This is Milly and Missy who were being fostered by Chris and Linda with their siblings when they were first found, Their siblings have all managed to find their forever homes. They are about 7 months old and up to date on injections,Milly has a strong character and likes to think she's in charge but this is usually a front as she gets on well with the other dogs that she shares a pen with,we do have to separate her from the others when it's feeding time. Milly loves to chase after balls and welcomes a fuss of anyone as she adores her cuddles she has also been cat tested and passed with flying colours. Missy is a loveable young girl who enjoys to play and tussle with the other dogs she shares a pen with, but we have to seperate her at feeding time as she can get a bit anixious. Missy welcomes a fuss and cuddle and really loves toys. She enjoys going out for walks on her lead, then like most dogs looks forward to a chill time.
  • Rudi
    Rudi
Rudi came into Noahs Arc last summer (2013) with a badly injured leg and other minor injuries. We are still unsure as to what caused all the injuries it was like acid or chemical burns but nothing on his feet, thro all the months of daily dressing changes and vet visits he kept smiling and was always a happy chap. Rudi is now fully recovered albeit with a limp still which hopefully in time he will get the confidence to use his leg properly. He is a very affectionate boy, great wiht other dogs, fully inoculated, neutered and house trained.
  • Chummy
    Chummy
Chummy is about 6 years old and has lived in a home with 2 other dogs, unfortunately his mummy died and the husband could not cope with 3 dogs and Chummy being the largest had to go and is now looking for his forever home. Chummy is a very lovable boy, loves a cuddle and chest rub, is ok with other dogs but chooses to keep himself to himself, he is a quiet boy and only barks if someone is at the gate.
